What makes Pop Secret pops special?Our pops are all dairy free, refined sugar free and contain no preservatives. We make sure they are filled with only natural ingredients, so that they can be enjoyed by young and young-for-longer, while knowing they're making the healthier choice.

How do you make them creamy without dairy?We use coconut milk as well as locally produced nut milks from The Almond Creamery.

Where can we find your product?You can find us at the OZCF market every Saturday and Sunday from October to end April. We’re also stocked in a number of stores in the Cape Town area, check out our stockists’ page here find your closest dealer.

What if I want to collect my orderWe offer free collection every Tuesday and Wednesday from Pop Secret HQ in Vredehoek. Any other time by prior arrangement only.

Can we order direct/in bulk?Yes! Order straight from our online shop or get in touch via email | DM | Whatsapp | old school phone call if you have a more unique enquiry, we love the weird and wonderful!

Are your pops vegan?All of our products are dairy-free. We have a plant-based range which is sweetened with honey as well as a strictly vegan range which is sweetened with coconut sugar.

Do you cater for events, weddings, birthdays?"Absolutely, you name it...we do it! We love celebrating and there’s no better way than with ice cream! You can check out our standard set up costs here, alternatively if your event needs a more tailored touch, we’d love to chat, please get in touch with us here.

Do you make custom flavours for events and orders?Yes, creativity is one of the perks of the job! Please get in touch with us here and our kitchen alchemist will put together a recipe development quote for you.

What is your approach to sustainabilityAt events and markets you’ll find that our pops come packaging-free. We’re trying our best to reduce our impact on the environment and this is one of the big ways we’re able to do that. When it comes to packaging our precious cargo in store, we’ve worked really hard to avoid plastic all together and make sure that our materials are bio-degradable and recyclable. The cardboard boxes that our pops are packaged in, meet all these requirements and look pretty darn good to boot!

Where can I find you in JHB/DBN?We are furiously figuring out how to bring ice cream dreams further north - it looks like 2021 will bring us closer to this goal, stay tuned!

What is xanthan gum?Xanthan gum is a vegan plant product that acts as a thickener. We add it to our mixes to reduce the ice crystals in the freezing process, which gives our pops a delectably creamier texture.

Depending on your needs we’ll provide a branded freezer* or Perspex display tray that fits into your existing stand up freezer. From there just place your order and we’ll deliver.
